Little Mama Sculpture Update & Merry Christmas!

So finally its all done. Its grand unveiling will be after Christmas when its gifted to my mother. :) Here is a sneak peak of its shiny new demeanor! ENJOY!

So I finally got to finish the patina on my bronze work, it took a few weeks and a holiday, but I'm very satisfied with its outcome, I'm posting sneak peak shots of it, first of all because it needs to be lacquered before its completely finished, and second because it is a gift, and there should be some surprise left!

Sculpture - Apoxie

I really love this material in Sculpture class. It has a consistency of play-doh and once it dries, it solid! I've used Sculpey before with far less satisfactory results, it constantly chips or breaks off, and is very brittle, but this stuff, i wouldn't be afraid to drop! Although I wouldnt, lol.

3D Watercolor - Independent Project

A couple of figures I'm doing for the Independent Project. Here I'll just be doing a series of related works based on Pre-Columbian art.

Gallery Show

So this week my work was up in the Cora Stafford Gallery. The reception was nice, a lot of people came, it was pretty crowded, and I was happy a few of my friends could make it and support me! Thanks guys!
